Fun times!

Hi...sorry I haven't been blogging lately.  My birthday was on September 4th and I'm now double digits (10 years old). The family went to Seattle for the entire day on August 31st.  It was hot and nice.

The the things we did were:

1.EMP museum and everything in it.  I learned a lot about music and how it is formed.  The history was fascinating.

2.Space Needle.  It is really tall!  My bother is afraid of heights, so he was kinda scared.

3.Seattle Big Wheel.  It is a HUGE ferris wheel sitting over the water.  I thought it was a lot of fun, but just like the Space Needle, my brother was scared the whole time.

4.Zekes Pizza (best pizza in Seattle).  In fact, it might be the best pizza anywhere in the world.  Trust me, it is THAT good!

5.Monorail.  This is some sort of fancy train that rides above ground.  I got to sit next to the conductor and got to honk the horn.  It was pretty cool.

6.Ferry.  Well, what can I tell you about the ferry except that it was windy outside and I could see Seattle from a ways away when I was standing outside.  It was so windy, I thought I was going to get carried away.  Crazy!

My Birthday

My birthday was on the first day of school.  Mom and I went to Safeway and bought 50 cookies for 5 dollars.  5 WHOLE DOLLARS!  That is the deal of a lifetime!

My teacher is Ms. Denton and I am in the 4th grade. Have I mentioned my dog Max?  Maybe I will tell you about him some other time.

A couple of Saturdays ago, the family went to see my uncle Dave in Tacoma.  We ate at a place called Pacific Grill. The food was delicious.  It was really great seeing Dave again since it had been over a year since the last time I saw him.  He got older, but you couldn't tell because he looked the same.  I only know he is older because I am now older.

That is all I have right now, enjoy some pictures below:

Shopping With Grandma

The other day I went shopping with Grandma for clothes and school supplies for 8 hours. It was fun and I like what Grandma got me. Plus I got a flash drive.

Then we went to Red Robin and I played a game called "sour squares".

Later my family and I practiced soccer and I was getting used to dribbling the ball faster and my new favorite thing to do; Juggling.

Here is me practicing soccer:

My day at the YMCA

Today I went to the YMCA with my sister, Madison and my dad. Madison and I jogged the track about 10 times! Dad... he didn't do much... he did 2 laps with me and Madison, and while Madison and I swam, he did 4 laps.

At my swimming class, I did "Treading water" for about 3 and a half minutes tops, maybe 4 minutes. I did 21 "Deep water bobs" today. "Deep water bobs" is when you are in the deep end (6 feet deep) and your Swim Instructor says to do "Deep water bobs" you go all the way to the bottom of the deep end while blowing out your nose.  I really like swim lessons and I am learning a lot.

Here is a pic of Madison and myself at the pool: (Click on pic for larger view!)

I'm almost 10 years old. My favorite color is red, and my favorite food is mom's homemade burritos. I like to play X-Box with my friends on a game called Halo.

We have one week and 6 days until the family goes to CA. We are staying at CA for a week. I'm really looking forward to feeding the Giraffes.
